The Crawford County Farm Bureau has been proudly serving its members and their families for over fifty years. Then, as well as now, one common theme shines through: members come first. We understand the emphasis that our members put on bringing up strong and humble families; their need at striving for hard work and dedication as a means of success; and the feeling of security they have from a support system dedicated to making their voices heard.
That is why we are based on a grassroots structure that is devoted to our members and allows county Farm Bureaus, and their leaders, to develop and implement policy. County policy is proposed and voted on by our 500+ members at the CCFB annual meeting each year. The policies that are adopted there go on to the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau’s annual meeting, and eventually to the National Farm Bureau Federation. The CCFB is one of 54 county Farm Bureaus in the state of Pennsylvania dedicated to supporting agriculture.
Beyond implementing policy, CCFB members volunteer their time advocating and educating. Whether it be with a legislative committee or outreach in a classroom, our members ensure that their message is heard. Learning our mission and goals is a great first step to becoming part of the Crawford County Farm Bureau family, we look forward to hearing from you soon!
What others say about us can hold more weight than what we say about ourselves. Let our supporters speak for us, check out our local businesses page and talk to general members about why they chose to join our community.
